WYB Rec League
Waupun Youth Baseball is a non-profit organization that is, and has been, run by parent volunteers for decades. Our goal is simple; it is to provide a structured baseball learning environment in a family friendly atmosphere for boys and girls age 4 – 14. WYB strives, not only to teach the fundamentals of baseball, but to also teach important life lessons, such as teamwork, leadership and good sportsmanship.
Division Details
- Tee-Ball – 4 to 6 year olds - $60.00 – Hit off a Tee
- Rookies – 6 to 8 year olds - $60.00 – Coach pitch - If you would like to have your child play in the Rookies at age 6 they must have played at least one year of Tee-Ball
- New to Minors – 7 to 9 year olds - $100.00
- Minors – 9 and 10-year olds - $100..00
- Majors – 11 and 12 year olds - $100.00
- Juniors – 13 and 14 year olds - $150.00 – this league is made from area teams & starts after the HS season.
Maximum per Family is $225.00

Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Example: Practices and home games are held at the RecPlex. Games may be played across the metro region.
Practices
League practice starts once the frost is out, usually mid April.
Each Team Manager schedules their own practices.
- At younger ages you many only have a few before opening day.
- For older kids you can plan on 1 - 2 a week.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Example: Teams will play 20-30 games over the course of the season and will usually fall on the weekends.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
Example: Club jerseys are required and may be purchased at TJ Sporting Goods.
Extra Costs
What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?
Example: Expect team managers to collect funds to cover tournament entry fees.
